If you’ve been putting off going to the dentist
Some of our patients hadn’t seen a dentist in years before they came to us. Some had a bad experience a long time ago. Some are embarrassed about the state of their teeth. Some just never got around to it.
We won’t treat that as unusual here, and none of it gets a lecture.

Dr Loy Correa
Opened Caring 4 Smiles in 1995, in a tired 1926 building on Manukau Road. He completed his Masters of Dental Surgery in 1981 and spent around sixteen years as a dentist to film stars in Bollywood before moving to New Zealand. He has served on the executive of the Auckland Dental Association and is a mentor to many young dentists.

Dr Kelvin Tay
Kelvin graduated in dental surgery from Otago in 2007. He works preventively to catch problems early to treat them with the least intervention that will do the job well. Alongside general dentistry he has a particular interest in root canal treatment and oral surgery, and is currently completing a postgraduate diploma in aesthetic dentistry.

Dr Madison Chang
Madison has spent over 10 years in dentistry, and works to a biomimetic philosophy of minimally invasive treatment that preserves as much of your natural tooth as possible, while still looking and feeling right. She’s fluent in English and Mandarin, has a keen eye for cosmetic work, and keeps studying to stay current.

Elise Tse
“We’ve been patients at the clinic for many years and would highly recommend them, from normal checkups to children teeth alignment specialisation, the team has the best interests of the patients in mind”

Steven Howe Mc Leay
“Maddie, the dentist was awesome as well as her assistant. Friendly atmosphere. No pain either. A 2 hour procedure to grind out a large old filling and rebuild the tooth. Great job done. 👏”

Frequently asked questions
How quickly will I hear back?
If you send the form during opening hours, we’ll call you back within an hour. If you send it after we’ve closed, we’ll call first thing on the next business day. We’re open six days a week, Monday to Saturday.
What happens during a first dental visit?
If your first visit is not an emergency and is as a New Patient, we will undertake a New Patient examination of your Oral Health.
We make and discuss detailed baseline records of your current dental health, document your past history, like fillings, crowns, or Invisalign braces in Auckland, and understand your expectations. We also make digital X-rays and high-definition photographs to create an overview of your mouth.

Do you offer weekend appointments?
Yes! We understand that fitting dental appointments into your busy schedule can be challenging. That’s why we offer Saturday appointments for our patients with no weekend surcharge, making quality dental care in Auckland accessible when it suits you best.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice when possible. Early notification helps us offer your appointment time to other patients who may need urgent care. For no-shows and late cancellations we charge a fee of $120 per hour booked to cover staff costs.
Do you have finance options?
We offer both Q Mastercard and Afterpay as financing options when a dental treatment is currently out of budget.
